Weighing your ingredients carefully is the secret of being a good cook. Thats why the digital kitchen scales from quality brand Alpina works very precisely. You weigh up to 5 kilos on it and you choose whether you do so in grams, kilos, pounds (lb) or ounces (oz). Automatic switch-off On the digital screen you see exactly what something weighs. Its almost impossible to make a mistake. After weighing, the food scale switches off automatically in 120 seconds. It also has a tare function for even more accuracy. This means you can set a point zero including the weight of the bowl or scale of your choice. Brushed stainless steel This scale has a nice brushed stainless steel exterior. Stainless steel is a fine material for kitchens, as it repels bacteria and does not rust. Because of its flatness (2 centimetres high) you can easily put this kitchen scale anywhere.
